Evil Never Dies. The Goldfield Hotel…

The site of murder, suicide and satanic rituals had long been thought to be haunted.

This destination for TV crews and social media influencers had been quiet for years.

But something is happening.

Something terribly Evil that threatens all of mankind.

The question is…

Can it be stopped? And by whom? Not the bickering crew of ghosts Virginia has gathered. Not by hungry paranormal investigators looking for their first big score. Maybe by a news guy and a demonologist with demonstrated experience and knowledge?

The Haunted Goldfield Hotel

I really loved this book. I have lived in Nevada for 46 years and have read Janice's other book about Goldfield, and specifically about the Goldfield Hotel. I have yet to drive down there, but it is on my bucket list. It is about some of the people who lived in Goldfield in the past and who are now ghosts, these are the good ghosts that are based on real people. There are demons in the hotel now and the crew of paranormal investigators and a demonologist work to get the evil demons and evil ghosts out through a portal. The evilest ghost is based on a former owner of the hotel. There is one very slight problem that I had with book, but it is my personal feeling. I feel that the demonologist and his partner should not have been driving a Cybertruck. Minor issue. Otherwise, a great book.

Goldfield

Great fun read dealing with ghosts AND demons. Loved the idiosyncratic characters and the cool manifestations.

Oh you’ll know,” Virginia’s voice again was subdued but deadly serious. “They’re not the bat winged hunched-over green scaly things like gargoyles. That’s Hollywood. They can assume many forms but the most frightening is the human form. You’ll know them. They are too charming and their insincere smiles last too long, like smiling is alien to them and they’re still figuring out how to do it. Their eyes are black and penetrating as though they are seeing inside your soul.”

And the eyes don’t reflect light, they devour it

Some of them almost look out of sync. You have to know what to look for in that way. But if you are open and a believer, they’ll know and then that hideous grin begins. The one that says you can’t run or hide. “I’ve come for you.”
